How it works

A payment. A return or referral. The next paid sale.

The pilot connects rewards to sales paid through EzMarket, so you can understand what your business keeps.

Pilot

How it works

From one payment to the next sale

The customer journey we are building for the pilot.

  1. Customer pays

The payment goes through EzMarket, so the sale is recorded.

  2. Customer returns or refers

The customer comes back or shares EzMarket with a friend.

  3. The next sale is confirmed

EzMarket records the paid sale and adjusts it if there is a refund.

  4. Merchant sees what the business keeps

The planned report brings together sales, rewards, refunds and sale proceeds.

Planned pilot report

What you will see

Complete reporting is planned. It will be checked with one pilot outlet before it is offered more widely.

Paid sales

Customer payments received through EzMarket.

Repeat-customer sales

Paid sales from customers who have paid your business through EzMarket before.

Referral sales

Paid sales linked to a customer referral under your pilot rules.

Rewards paid

Rewards paid to customers and people who referred them.

Refunds and adjustments

Money returned to customers, changes to rewards and any refund adjustment pending.

Sale proceeds

What remains from paid sales after fees, rewards, refunds and adjustments.

Paid sales − fees − rewards − refunds ± adjustments = sale proceeds

Sale proceeds are different from available money to withdraw now. Previous balances, withdrawals, holds and other authorised movements can also affect available funds. Rent, stock and other business costs still need to be paid.

Pilot questions

A few useful answers

Which payments are included in the pilot?

Reports include payments processed through EzMarket. Cash, external DuitNow QR, bank, card and POS payments are not automatically included. Shopee and TikTok sales are not currently supported.

Is the complete report available today?

Complete reporting is planned. Payments, rewards, refunds, adjustments and payout must first be checked with one pilot outlet before wider use. Your pilot setup will confirm what is available to your business.

What happens after a refund?

The pilot must show the customer refund, any change to rewards and any refund adjustment pending that affects what your business keeps. Refund and reward checks still need to be verified before complete reporting is offered more widely.

When does a referral count as a confirmed sale?

The friend must pay through EzMarket and the sale must pass the agreed refund checks and pilot rules. Sharing a link on its own does not count as a paid sale. Reward rates and any later adjustments will be explained before you join.

How is customer information used?

Your customer record links a participating customer to payments at your business. The pilot must explain customer consent and keep optional marketing permission separate, with a way to opt out. You do not receive another merchant’s customer list or private sales records.

Does a repeat or referral sale prove extra growth?

It shows a sale linked to a repeat visit or referral. It does not prove the sale would never have happened otherwise. To understand extra growth, you need a fair comparison over time. Results depend on your business and customer participation.
