Frequently asked questions
Direct answers about EzMarket.
Capabilities are labelled plainly so merchants and members can distinguish what is available, part of the pilot, planned or unsupported.
Which payments are included in the pilot?
Reports include payments processed through EzMarket. Cash, external DuitNow QR, bank, card and POS payments are not automatically included. Shopee and TikTok sales are not currently supported.
Is the complete report available today?
Complete reporting is planned. Payments, rewards, refunds, adjustments and payout must first be checked with one pilot outlet before wider use. Your pilot setup will confirm what is available to your business.
What happens after a refund?
The pilot must show the customer refund, any change to rewards and any refund adjustment pending that affects what your business keeps. Refund and reward checks still need to be verified before complete reporting is offered more widely.
When does a referral count as a confirmed sale?
The friend must pay through EzMarket and the sale must pass the agreed refund checks and pilot rules. Sharing a link on its own does not count as a paid sale. Reward rates and any later adjustments will be explained before you join.
How is customer information used?
Your customer record links a participating customer to payments at your business. The pilot must explain customer consent and keep optional marketing permission separate, with a way to opt out. You do not receive another merchant’s customer list or private sales records.
Does a repeat or referral sale prove extra growth?
It shows a sale linked to a repeat visit or referral. It does not prove the sale would never have happened otherwise. To understand extra growth, you need a fair comparison over time. Results depend on your business and customer participation.
Do customers need another app?
Customers currently need an EzMarket account. Before the pilot starts, we will explain the steps your customers need to take.
Do I need to replace my till or POS?
The pilot can run alongside your existing setup. Only payments through EzMarket are included in its report; any connection to your POS would need a supported integration.
How much does the pilot cost?
We will confirm your pilot fees, rewards and payment setup in writing before you decide to join. Checking whether your business fits does not create a paid commitment.
Who is the pilot for?
We are starting with salons, non-medical spas, barbers and wellness studios with one to three outlets. The initial fit is RM80–300 average customer spend, customers returning about every four to eight weeks, and willingness to accept pilot payments through EzMarket.
Is EzMarket Shariah-certified?
EzMarket does not currently claim Shariah certification. Any future certification claim would need formal, current evidence from the appropriate authority.
How are referral earnings calculated?
Earnings depend on the merchant’s reward rates and the payments that meet the agreed rules. Check the rates and terms in the member experience. Refunds may change rewards.
